Representing the College of Psychiatrists of Ireland at to the Citizens’ Assembly on Drugs Use, Professor Anne Doherty, Consultant Liaison Psychiatrist and former chair of the Faculty of Liaison Psychiatry, presented the key points of College submission to same on Sunday, 3 September.
Prof Doherty highlighted relevant data, outlined key concerns with regard to drugs use and the impact on individuals’ mental health and on the services, to the 99 members of the Assembly.
