The College of Psychiatrists of Ireland is pleased to announce that registration for the Careers in Psychiatry Event 2023 in Cork is now OPEN.

Our Careers in Psychiatry events are aimed at medical students, interns and NCHDs who are interested in a career in Psychiatry or who simply want to find out more about the work Psychiatrists do.
The programme in Cork will include presentations by Consultants and Trainees in Psychiatry, and members of College service users, carer and family member group, REFOCUS, as well as visits to local psychiatric services.
On the day, we aim to detail the training pathway and research opportunities, as well as exploring both the cutting-edge science aspects of Psychiatry and the varied career opportunities that lie within the many psychiatric specialties and subspecialties – areas of interest which are often not covered in undergraduate teaching.
