Postgraduate Training

This section provides information and help to those qualified doctors seeking to undertake specialist training in psychiatry, medical students and doctors in training considering it and for the general public.

The College of Psychiatrists of Ireland (CPsychI) is responsible for all aspects of postgraduate training in psychiatry in Ireland. It aims to provide the best possible training for qualified doctors at both basic and higher ‘Specialist’ level in psychiatry.

In advance of the May 2023 clincial examination candidates are invited to register for a short clinic in which they can sample the Zoom and Moodle platforms in a simulated examination environment. During the clinic candidates will be moved through different rooms on a Zoom call and asked to log into a Moodle test exam page, toggling between Zoom and Moodle as will be expected in the CFME examination. There will also be time for questions. This is an excellent opportunity to test your technology in advance of the examintion. Please register below to attend.
