Members

Membership is open to all psychiatrists working in Ireland and overseas. We also offer membership to medical students and interns absolutely free. The College membership year runs from 1st November to 31st October.

Conference Rates and Registration Information

We are not longer taking bookings online, please pay at the ‘New Bookings’ Desk onsite.

Registration opens from 11.30am on Saturday 6th July
Registration at the venue for ESCAP 2013 will open on Saturday 6th July from 11.30am to 6pm at the Convention Centre Dublin.

*When booking system opens please indicate your dates of attendance.
**Students, Trainees and Allied professionals (Psychologists, Social Workers and Nurses) will need to provide us with documentation supporting their status.

Registration

The Participant registration fee includes:

  • Participation in seminars and access to the poster and exhibition areas.
  • Congress bag, contents and programme.
  • Light lunch, tea and coffee.
  • Certificate of participation. (CPD Approval)
  • Insurance: The registration fee does not include provision of any insurance.

Gala Dinner
Gala dinner price includes: Drinks reception, 3 course meal, wine and entertainment. Dress, smart casual. Entertainment by KILA

Trainees
Trainees are those doctors currently training in psychiatry, who are not yet in consultant posts. Non consultant hospital doctors also qualify for this rate.

Invitation Letters
To receive an invitation letter from the ESCAP, you will need to have registered and booked for the congress. Invitation letters will be sent via email. Please allow 10 business days for receipt of your invitation letter.We cannot send out invitation letters unless we have received your booking in full. We also cannot apply for a VISA on your behalf, but we can assist with letters.

Visas
People from certain countries need a valid Irish entry visa before arriving in Ireland, whether by air, sea or land. An Irish visa is a certificate placed on your passport or travel document to indicate that you are authorised to land in the Ireland subject to any other conditions of landing being fulfilled.
You should apply at least 8 weeks before you plan to come to Ireland

Ireland enjoys good diplomatic relations with almost every country and very few require visas. However, delegates are always advised to check with their own travel agent for more exact details. Letter of invitation can be provided upon request and once you have paid for your ticket.

Do I need A Visa?
You do not need a visa to land in Ireland if you are a citizen of one of the countries listed (includes EEA member states). The members of the EEA are the 27 countries of the European Union (EU), together with Iceland, Norway and Liechtenstein.

Payment Type
You can either pay by bank transfer against an invoice or alternatively you can pay by credit card during the online registration process. We accept Visa/Debit, VISA, Mastercard or Laser.

Confirmation of Registration
Confirmation of registration and receipts of payment will only be sent when both the registration form and payment in full are received. Confirmation will be sent to the participants by email.

Cancellations
Cancellations will be accepted until 1st June 2013. The full amount will be refunded less €100 to cover cancellation costs. No refunds will be made after this date. Cancellations must be made in writing by email or by post to the conference office. Reimbursement will not be given for late arrival, unused services, unattended events or early departure from the conference. Replacements of participants are accepted at an extra charge of €30 on top of the overall ticket price.
