Communications & Policy

The Communications & Policy department manages internal and external communications and public affairs for the College. It maintains relationships with external stakeholders within the government, medical organisations and the media. It also liaises with faculties, committees and College members.

The main aims of the department are to:

  • Advocate for best practice in person-centred mental health services and supports
  • Communicate with the public and provide information on mental illness
  • Improve the public understanding of Psychiatry
  • Collaborate with key players in the mental health field.
