Traveller Mental Health Education & Awareness Day

This free event, co-hosted by the College and Kerry Travellers Health and Community Development Project (KTHCDP), will take place on Wednesday 16th October, from 9.30am to 3.30pm,  at the Meadowlands Hotel, Tralee, Co. Kerry.

It is open to all but particularly those from the Traveller community, doctors, mental health professionals and mental health service providers, as well as those interested from the general public.

The aim of the day is to provide valuable insights for all in attendance, through learning and discussion, on mental health difficulties and illness including relevant supports, services and specialist mental health services available.

With an opening address (online) by the Minister for Mental Health, Ms Mary Butler,TD, and featuring a number of speakers from the College and KTHCDP, the day will include morning and afternoon sessions of presentations, Q&As and panel discussions, with lunch served.
