The College of Psychiatrists of Ireland (CPsychI) is responsible for all aspects of postgraduate training in psychiatry in Ireland. It aims to provide the best possible training for qualified doctors at both basic and higher ‘Specialist’ level in psychiatry.

Clinical Examination

The Spring 2024 BST Clinical Examination will take place on FRIDAY, 1st March (CFME) & SATURDAY, 2nd March (OSCE). The CFME will take place in Croke Park Stadium, Dublin and the OSCE will take place in RCSI, 26 York Street, Dublin.

As the OSCE date is outside of the normal working week, the examiner rate will be increased to €500 for the full day.  Examiners travelling from outside Dublin to participate will be accommodated in a central Dublin hotel on the Friday night. 1 CPD credit per hour of examining (in the CPD Category:  Research, Examining, Postgraduate Supervision) is applicable. The regular €300 examiner day rate will apply for the CFME. Examiners travelling from outside Dublin to participate will be accommodated in a Dublin hotel on the Thursday night.
