The College of Psychiatrists of Ireland celebrated a major milestone at its two-day Spring Conference in the Castleknock Hotel, Dublin in April. Formed in January 2009 as an Irish only professional body for trainee psychiatrists and psychiatrist specialists, the College is now into its 11th year having achieved and sustained its status as the official accredited body for postgraduate training and professional competence, as well as being a major stakeholder in the mental health arena.
