Professional Competence Scheme - Online Enrolment

Online application forms for enrolment in the CPsychI Professional Competence Scheme.

From 1st May 2011, it has been a legal requirement for all doctors registered on the Medical Council Specialist, General and Supervised Divisions to be enrolled in a professional competence scheme.

The College's PCS Handbook gives information on the requirements of the PCS, the role of the College and the Medical Council, and advice on what you need to do to comply with the requirements of the Medical Practitioners Act and the Medical Council.

The Medical Council website has sections on Professional Competence, including Frequently Asked Questions,  and gives further information on PCS.  The Medical Council launched its "Professional Competence – Promoting Quality Assurance” document in May 2010. Full information on Professional Competence, including documents for download, are available from the Medical Council website.

Email the College's Professional Competence office if you have any queries.
